Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer the Controller's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to managing all accounting and finance operations. Ensure all financial records and statements, such as balance sheet, income and loss statements and cash-flow statements are completed in line with federal laws and regulations and accounting principles. Play a key role in the financial business planning, forecasting, budgeting, AP/AR, reporting, and advising on performance including revenues, expenses, cash flow, and other KPI’s.
Primary Responsability
- Support both the short and long-term business planning process to help create meaningful financial plans that guide the organization and drive the achievement of financial and operational objectives
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and investment activities
- Collaborate closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance
- Inventory management
- Cash flow management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- 3+ years’ work experience in a similar role
- ERP experience, Odoo ERP beneficial but not required
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of AP / AR
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations on taxes and reporting

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Experience working in a multicultural international and start-up environment is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, switching activity from one project to another in order to meet deadlines and requirements
